Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 29, 2026

GeoDial ("we", "our", or "the app") is a tool for performance marketers to search available phone numbers and look up area code information. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is handled.

Data We Do Not Collect

GeoDial does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. We have no backend database, no user accounts, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.

Credentials You Provide

Your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token are stored exclusively on your own device:

  • Web app: Stored in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your browser except when sent directly to the Twilio API.
  • Chrome extension: Stored in chrome.storage.local on your device. They are never sent anywhere except directly to the Twilio API.

We never see, log, or have access to your Twilio credentials.

Third-Party APIs

GeoDial makes requests to the following third-party services on your behalf. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Twilio API (api.twilio.com) — to search available phone numbers using credentials you provide. Governed by Twilio's Privacy Policy.
  • Local Calling Guide (localcallingguide.com) — to look up area code, city, and carrier information. No personal data is sent.
  • Zippopotam.us (api.zippopotam.us) — to resolve ZIP and postal codes to city/state. No personal data is sent.

Cookies & Tracking

GeoDial does not use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technologies. Your theme preference (light/dark mode) is stored in localStorage on your device only.

Children's Privacy

GeoDial is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
